Founded in 1972 by Furman Cullum, the Cullum company has since grown to include two thriving subsidiaries: Cullum Services, Inc. and Cullum Constructors, Inc. The company is excited to celebrate 50 years of operation in July of this year and is eager to commemorate its significant expansion and longstanding history over the past five decades.
Today, Cullum holds a Certificate of Authorization for Engineering and unlimited mechanical and general contractor licenses in South Carolina, as well as plumbing and mechanical licenses in both Georgia and North Carolina. Over the past 50 years, the company has completed an expansive list of large, complex commercial and industrial mechanical engineering, construction, and maintenance projects in a myriad of market segments, including manufacturing, industrial, institutional, military, laboratory, assembly, K-12 and more.
Even though Cullum’s operations have evolved greatly over the years to meet evolving industry developments and shifting customer demands, the company’s values of integrity, innovation, respect, and quality have remained constant. The overarching goal behind Cullum’s operations is to continually remain focused on the client while providing an exceptional level of workmanship on every project.
A big part of Cullum’s success over the past 50 years can be attributed to hiring exceptional skilled craft professionals and team members. The company is always looking for great people to join its team and currently has multiple positions open for various trades.
As Cullum looks towards the next 50 years, the company expects another period of tremendous growth and the opportunity to work on many exciting and fulfilling projects for industrial and commercial clients throughout the Southeast.
