HVAC PM TECHNICIAN

Cullum Mechanical is seeking skilled and dedicated COMMERCIAL HVAC PM technicians for immediate hire to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, and the ability to perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The primary goal of this role is to ensure optimal system performance and longevity through regular servicing and proactive measures. This role is essential for ensuring the comfort and safety of our clients’ environments through effective preventive maintenance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on commercial HVAC systems, including filter changes, belt replacements, and cleaning of coils.
• Conduct thorough inspections to assess system performance and identify potential issues before they become problems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service logs and equipment history.
• Collaborate with clients to develop customized maintenance plans that meet their specific needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Stay informed about industry standards, new technologies, and best practices in HVAC preventive maintenance.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding maintenance findings and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC preferred.
• EPA certification
• Three years experience in preventive maintenance of commercial HVAC systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC components, controls, and efficiency standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
