The scope included partial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) replacement and repair including replacement of air handling units, goose-neck exhaust vents, water heater flue, and repair of two RTUs (Remote Terminal Units). Cullum was contracted by EBS, the General Contractor (GC) to perform the mechanical elements of the contract. The property owner is Charleston County School District (CCSD). Cullum specializes as a mechanical contractor and often teams up with a GC to perform as a subcontractor on the mechanical scope of the projects. This was a smaller, fast-paced job since all the work had to be completed during the summer because it required the air conditioning to be turned off.
